Santa's Helper Nicholas

Today Nicholas from Sweet November is running arond with wrapping papers and ribbon to help Chrissy with packing the presents.... November stamps are out

Yes, it's time to show you the brand new All That Scraps November stamps. 

Girls Christine, AmyY from Sweet November and AmyR(text) really made so many stamps for this month, it was really hard to choose which stamps I wanted.... because I wanted them all... but I don't have the time to work with all... so I had a hard time choosing.... but finally I did choose....

For today we start with the stamps that we all know from Christine! Only this time she 

asked the brothers and sisters to sit together and pose for her!

New November stamps from Sweet November

Goodmorning to you all...... 

In the Sweet Novemberland all creatures... tiny and big are still preparing for the coming Christmas...

There is so much that needs to be done... they are all so busy with it... 

Beth is ready with checking the stockings.... no holes in them... so when Santa comes the presents will not fall out of them.... from the smile on her face you can see that they all are ready for Santa!!!!

Review Sweet November stamps

Goodmorning to you,

I have to say that somehow time flies faster in Autumn.... really... we are at the end of October already... 

were did summer go? Outside it's cold and wet... and I'm shiffering all day....

It's a perfect time to stay indoors and work on my Christmas Cards. And with the new October stamps by Sweet November it's a pleasure to stay indoors and craft a lot!

For this review I colored Noelle with my Prisma pencils. 

A totally different way of coloring then the Copic Makers. It surely cost more time and effort... but I love the softness of teh colors...
I don't use blending fluids... I use the pencils as blenders...
Noelle is stamped with Distress ink Antique Linnen. This way you don't have those dark black outlines arond her...
The text stamp is from Scripted Greetings and Fanciful Christmas. They are new at All That Scraps as well and available HERE
I used the C.C. Designs Phlox flowers die and the ribbon die and the Holly dies.
Papers by Kaiserkraft Turtle Dove.

De eerste Schuif aan en doe mee ochtenden zijn gepland.....

Op deze schuif aan  kun je terecht van 9.30 tot 12.00 uur. Tijdens de schuif aan kun je, eventueel met mijn hulp, een kaart of project maken. Iedere keer is er een andere kaart of project dat gemaakt kan worden. 

De kosten voor zijn ochtend, middag of avond zijn € 7,50. Dit is incl. koffie, thee en een lekkere versnapering.

Mocht je helemaal weg zijn van 1 van de producten dan kun je die dan altijd op dat moment bij me bestellen. Maar aanschuiven is geen verplichting tot bestellen!

Of je nu een beginner bent of een ervaren stempelaar.... in mijn workshop/schuif aan assortiment zit voor ieder wat wils. Mocht je graag iets specifieks maken... mail of bel me gerust en dan kunnen we samen kijken wat ik voor je kan betekenen.

Voor deelname aan de Schuif aan en doe mee geld dat je deelname vooraf betaald moet zijn om je plek definitief te reserveren. Wil je graag met een aantal vriendinnen, familie, collega's of buurvrouwen een ochtend komen aanschuiven, dan geldt ook nu weer dat jij dan alle hostess voordelen krijgt. Stampin`Up!

Na toch een poosje aan het nadenken te zijn geweest en na overleg met mijn dierbare familie heb ik besloten om de stap te wagen en demonstratrice te worden voor Stampin`Up!

Zoals jullie weten heb ik aardig wat voor mijn kiezen gehad het laatste jaar en heb ik geen workshops meer gegeven, niet meer op beurzen of bij winkels demonstraties gedaan. Maar nu mijn gezondheid weer de goede kant op gaat kruipt het bloed dan toch waar het gaan moet.... workshops geven.

En dat dan met de geweldig mooie producten van Stampin`Up!

As most of you know, the last year was healthwise not a good year and I had to stop giving workshop's and demo's. But girls... did I miss that! And now my health is getting back on track and I just have to go back in doing what I love most.... giving workshops, trainings and now also working with the marvellous products of

Review All That Scraps Stamps

Well... it's time to give you a review on the new October Release from All That Scraps.

Today I'm showing you a card that I made with Victorian Emma by C.C. Designs.

Hope I could inspire you with this card and you will start on your Christmas cards as well.. and of course use these fabulous new stamps and dies for it!

Make it Monday at All That Scraps.

It's my turn for Make it Monday at All That Scraps. This time I used the brand new October dies and stamps that are available in store HERE. 

Cut the ribbon and the bells twice from the same Design paper of choice

  

Ink all the edges of the ribbon parts. Take the the two similar ribbon ends.. On one end you start to slightly emboss on the back side of the paper. This way you get a little bit curved ribbon part.

 Cut the Foam squares or little glue dots and place them on the underpart of the ribbon. On the ends and in between add a little glue from the little glue pen.  Add the top layer onto the bottom and press onto the glue parts and the foam blocks.

Repeat these steps with every part of the ribbon.

  

Do the same thing with the bells that you’ve cut out.

  

Take a white piece of cardstock and cut and fold it to the desired card size.

Use your choice of 3 colors of Distress inks in the same color range. Start with the lightest color to color the front of the card.. then use the middle tone to add a little more to the edges of the card and the darkest tone for the true edges of the card.

   

  It will look like this.

 I took the brand new October stamp Joy Music  and stamped it at the right bottom of the card.. leaving a part out of it. 

 I adjusted the ribbon and the bells with the twinery to the left upper corner of the stamped image.

I used the text Joy to the world from the New October stamps Scripted Greetings and Fanciful Christmas Text Stamps.

Finally I used a white Opaque pen to bring light details on the ribbon, bells and the stamped texts.

I used a white Liqued Pearl Pen and added the pearl drops to the corners.

  

This is the end result… You can add details inside the card to give it an extra finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed this Make It Monday and give it a try… it’s easier to make than you would think!

Since the two other cards were pretty plain and simple I made this card filled with embellies.... so a complete different type of card....

Second Preview day at All That Scraps

Welcome back here today.... I sure hope you enjoyed all the cards that the other girls from All That Scraps made with the cute new stamps. Today it's the turn of the Swiss Pixies and the Sugar Plums.... They are ready to sing and celebrate Christmas with you too!

On this card I used Caroling Emma, Joy Music stamp, Scripted Greetings and Fanciful Christmas Text Stamps and the New Music Border Die.

Since I can't find any lilac or Purple Christmas papers I decided to make my own with simply ink on it....

Somehow I had the urge to work with lilac and purple.

It's October 1st...and Autumn has arrived here.... the evenings are dark early and I burn my candle's now and then again.  It's also the time that we all start to think and work for Christmas again.
